Default did something dunno how to undoit ?

So somehow i changed how my car reacts when i lock the doors.
It used to be that when i got home i would exit the car and use the door lock button on the drivers door to lock the car and when i closed the door the park lites would flash twice and i would get a single chime to let me know all was good. I liked it that way.
somehow i changed something and now when i do my exit from the car the park lites come on and stay on , no flash, no chime and worse yet after i have closed the door the park lites stay on for almost a minute then go out.
I hate this. I have perused the owners manual and have not had any luck figuring out what I have done , how i did it, or how to undo it.
anyone have any insight ?

No flash? Sounds more like an issue with the system than accidentally changing some settings.

Well I FINALLY figgered out what I did.
I first thought i had changed a car setting, after messing with every menu and sub menu's settings, i was wrong, then I figgered it had something to do with my CompuStar Pro remote starter as it has many extra features some of which i use but again I was wrong. sigh
It turns out it was my Tap Turn signal flasher.
Somehow i activated the arrival / departure lighting feature. I was not amused.
But very relieved to shut it off and now have it working as it was/ as it should be !
I find it is the little things that can drive me mad ?

CompuStar Remote? So it has aftermarket modifications done?

Good that you've resolved the issue!

My CompuStar Remote car starter has several features built into it, the one i like is drive lock.
when the car is put into gear the doors lock and when i get to where I am going and put the car in park when i shut the engine off the doors unlock. I very much like this feature. the Tap Turn signal flasher provides me with the ability to program a specific number of signalling flashes by gently applying pressure to the signal light lever without engaging it and it will flash 4 times to change lanes, not sure how many flashes it is capable of but i have it programmed for 4.
