Ikon is right, its kinda hard to suggest a dealership without knowing where you are!

There are plenty of sites like truecar, edmunds, etc, that will give you a good idea of pricing and dealers in your area.

If you have a Costco membership, use their auto program because it saved me $2200. Paid around 1K under invoice and also took a survey with Costco after purchase and they gave me a $200 gift certificate for parts at the dealership. Gonna get the upgraded speakers with it

If you don't know the car biz, or even if you do and don't have a fleet contact, AAA has a buying service that will also get a you a fleet deal.

Dealers are professional negotiators, so it pays to know what you might be able to get. Edmunds can be a big help with that. There's about two thousand profit in the cars at MSRP.

BTW, $2200 off is not $1000 under invoice. Unless you're talking second sticker which I've seen still around from time to time. That practice more or less went away in the 80's. :

I got mine for $500 below sticker... I'm ok with that... Since I got payoff on my trade which was higher than low retail.

With taxes, tags, remote start, destination fee, and all the other crap that the dealers pile on, I wrote my check for about a thousand dollars less than MSRP.

I got $1000 off MSRP, which was good I think, since I bought mine in November. Dealership inventories were scarce back then. I only got that deal when I was ready to walk away because they wouldn't budge off MSRP. You should be able to do better now--I'm seeing more of them on dealership lots.

I lucked out and got mine "used". Somebody decided they wanted a Tiguan after driving my XV Prem MT for 600 miles. It came with about $1500 in options (side molding, crossbars, etc.). I ended up paying $21k including everything (taxes,etc.)... ;D ;D
