I used to be on i-club like crazy, especially when I first started driving and got my first Subie, which was in like 2010 or so. Now, I only glance at it like every week.
Despite being one of the main forum users here, unfortunately, there is no stopping the mass migration of forum members onto other platforms with more up-close and personal interaction like facebook. It's just the natural evolution of internet interaction, much like myspace users migrated to facebook.
Users like me who refuse to get a facebook account are left with what is available on the forums.
Getting an XV Crosstrek local SF Bay Area get-together just hasn't worked out using forums, but I can only hope.
It's awesome you have a community of Crosstrek drivers to hang out with! It also helps to be in the NW United States, where Subies are quite commonplace.
