Default AEM 21-772C Air Intake?

Searching intakes for the Crosstrek and I came upon this:
21-772C - AEM , AEM Cold Air Intake System direct from AEM
Anyone know if this will fit the Crosstrek? It seems to me that it's the only one that actually takes cold air from outside.

Well I pulled the trigger. I should be getting it Tuesday so I'll be installing on Wednesday. I will post pictures during the install.

Not trying to burst anyone's bubble it's a very nice intake it gets the filter out of the engine bay for cooler air but if you plan on offroading your car, it's probably not the best one to get because it puts the filter and intake opening closer to the ground which is a potential to suck up water when crossing a creak or stream. The higher the intake opening the better

Yeah, but it also means that a snorkel might be easier to do!

That's stupid how AEM doesn't list the XV Crosstrek as an applicable model. It's the only other vehicle offerend in the USA with the Subaru FB20 engine.

I'm almost certain it will fit with no issues. Thanks for sharing this, I had no idea AEM actually made an entire intake kit for the FB20 engines. I only have the AEM drop-in air filter designed to fit where the OEM engine air filter is supposed to be.

Can confirm that the intake fits my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. I'll post pictures and my thoughts tomorrow.

Real easy installation except for the the filter.
Definitely gives the Crosstrek a little more pep!
Intake sound not that noticeable.
Intake temp is definitely reduced though!
Getting a aFe pre-filter for more protection.

No pictures. But I can say that they are lower. Other day it was in the 60's. Intake reading was 66.4 and temp for outside said 67.

Only thing I would add would be a aFe pre-filter. Also 2012-2016 Subaru Impreza Cold Air Intakes - AEM 21-772C - AEM Cold Air Intake System
Has either 20 or 15% off. You can also get the aFe pre-filter here.
