Wait.... us people? Or U.S. people? Lol. The American version of the Aussie term "petrol head" would be "gear head". That's what we've always said. But I like petrol head better, since that's the proper term for "fuel"

HAHAHAHA indeed yea I have always thought the term "Gas" was a little weird as we refer to Gas as the BBQ fuel or Home heating and Fuel or petrol as Gas.......but hey Im not discriminating

I have been discussing an option for the 2018 Crosstrek with a few friends of mine and looking to potentially create my own axle back to start with and potentially cat back.
I like the look on the 2018's of not having the exhaust showing but could create different styles to incorporate a variety of looks. What I am building is a N1 style muffler with a 4" turn down tip attached and have a Helmholtz style resonator similar to something on the Ark Grip. This is going to be easily done and take up no more space then the original muffler does as well as using factory mounts. I am currently working details of flange placement and attaching the Helmholtz style resonator as well as the length of resonator to produce the best sound and reduce drone.
If anyone else is interested let me know I would be happy to keep people in the loop with its progress.
