Unhappy damaged front wheel stud 2014 XV

So I have always ran summer aluminum wheels n tyres and winter steel wheels and tyres.
I change them out myself in my driveway using an electric impact gun and hand torque wrench.
Today when i put the summer skins on I damaged a front wheel stud too the point in must be replaced now.
I looked in my owners manual and searched the forum and came up empty.
Is changing a wheel stud on the front of a 2014 Crosstrek involved?
Is it something i can do or does it need to go to a shop ?
I am a little bit handy when it comes to cars but I am no mechanic by any means.
I would prefer to do it myself if it is not too involved as I am on a fixed and limited income.
any input, insight or assistance in any way would be appreciated.
thanks in advance ?

These might help. The second vid is a little controversial and you may not have the proper tools. Other than that you could go to a tire shop and see what they might do for you as far as cost. Walk in with a box of donuts.

I personally would never cut up the car too change the stud and neither of these cars is specifically a Subaru Crosstrek front wheel but i do appreciate the videos, I did search on youtube but didn't find an actual crosstrek front wheel stud replacement video. Unless i can find a video specifically on a Subaru Crosstrek front wheel damaged stud or someone has a diagram i would not be willing too attempt this myself.
if all else fails I may have to go a summer with only 4 lug nuts on the front wheel .

I called Kaltire and they gave me an estimate of 250.00 too 300.00 which is just out of the question for my financial situation.
I know better than to call the Subaru stealership as they always want your first born and atleast one testicle too da anything.

My buddy Blake did a video on his WRX. He removed his OEM studs to install ARP extended ones. So same concept to remove and install, but all OEM.

It's not Crosstrek specific, but it is Subaru... and Subaru's are big Legos and are all so very similar if not exactly the same.

Also, I know you said you use an impact gun for the lugs. Do you zap the lugs on, or do you hand thread them on first?

I always thread then on by hand and then zip them on but stop short and then use a torque wrench to finish tightening them.

That's how I go about it also. Despite such precautions, I've already destroyed 5 wheel studs so far
