Default Method 501 and 225/70R15 Grabbers

Does anyone have a Method 501 and 225/70R15 Grabber AT 2 setup.
I want to keep the OEM offset (48mm) so the 501s vs the 502s.
However the 225/70R15 Grabber AT 2s are a bit taller 27.4" vs 26.7"
I am not concerned about snow and mud but do want to make sure I do not have a clearance or rubbing problem. I can opt for the Yoko Geolander A/T-S 215/70R15 which are a bit closer to OEM at 26.9" but are on the skinny side and do not have quite the aggressive look I want. My off-roading is consists of going on the NC beach and some unimproved dirt and gravel roads - nothing serious.

Hi Dennis,

What'd you end up doing for tires? I'm looking at 501s and trying to figure out what tires to pair with them (I'm between the two options you've posted here).

I'm in the midwest, so will have some snow to contend with.

Thanks

Still haven't decided - TireRack told me the 15" 501s would not clear the break calipers on the 2017 Crosstrek. I plan to lift it 2" with an Anderson lift kit. Looks like I will have to go with 16" wheels - the dilemma I have to stay close to the OEM total diameter of wheel/tire the tires end up being 215 which is a little on the skinny side I want to stay with 225.

I spoke with Method yesterday about my '17 and they said the 15's would work, but I may have to slight bend the brake line. NO problem with the Calipers (per them)
