Default Painting calipers or getting a cover

Which is better to go with painting the calipers or getting a cover for them. Just looking for opinions.

I advise against using caliper covers. Covering the brake system with calipers covers causes the brakes to hold more heat.

In my opinion, I feel the only vehicles that should run caliper covers are show cars that never get driven any miles on public roads.

Go with painting the calipers. What color(s) are you considering?

Black and orange. I was looking for a better solution for time. My xv is an everyday driver so I was looking for a quick way out

If you use caliper paint, it will last a long time. I know the typical colors ive seen are black, red, silver. Ive personally never seen it in orange, but that doesnt mean you cant find it online.

I painted my wrx calipers years ago. Paint lasted fine for over four years and the calipers still looked good when I sold them (it was also my daily driver).
