Last week, purchased a ice silver 2014 xv crosstrek. My first subaru, and so far I am uber happy. Just gives a feeling of being well built and reliable . Traded in a ford focus that gave me nothing but trouble. I guess the body style and awd lured me in, and I am super psyched that it did. Here's to many happy miles in my new crosstrek.

Welcome from another Virginia'n. Enjoy your new XV, I know I have since I got it, and average 1000 miles a month. Break it in as per the manual, and don't worry if your gas milage sucks for the first 1000 miles or so. It will get better.
As far as Subi's go, this is my third and my wife is on her third. Have found them to be (as far as ours) trouble free and reliable in all weather. Just give em proper maintiance and care and they'll give you good service.
