I am sorry that it happened. Specially after only two weeks. I would not replace the bumper.
Replacing the bumper would be over $500! So, not an option right now.

The area is not panted, it is the gray textured spot. Gouged too.. I think a trailer hitch hit me!

Welcome to the forum. That gouge is a darn shame. Other drivers often forget that they do not own the space they drive in. We Subie drivers, however do own it and the bubble that surrounds or Xtreks.

Ok, I'k a newb.. LOL What is that?
Plasti-dip is something your you'll see as you flip through the pages of this forum. It is, basically, a non-damaging, non-permanent, vinyl coating that you can get in a spray can.

Plasti-Dip comes in a spray can costs about 6 bucks at your local home depot/lowes hardware store. It's the only rubberized paint you can spray on and literally peel off if your tired of looking at it. A ton of people on this website and other car sites have used it. Including me.

This is from our DIY section:

Hey Everyone - Thanks for your help. I am going to try to push most out from behind then install these

And perhaps a CF overlay that would blend behind it...

I'd do both sides.. Thoughts?
