Default Greetings and Salutations

Hello everyone, my name Is Alexander and I'm just taking some time here to introduce myself.

I just got my Crosstrek Premium in Black Crystal Silica with manual transmission and I'm absolutely in love with it. This is my first Subaru but I've driven many of my friends various Subarus throughout the years and always thought they were nice, solid cars.

I've always been a hatchback person but in Chicago I found it somewhat necessary to have something more like an SUV for the often unpredictable weather and the generally appalling road conditions but now I think I (as well as the rest of you, I'm sure) have found the perfect balance of hatchback practicality/economy and off-roady prowess with the Crosstrek.

I look forward to talking Crosstrek stuff with all of you in the future and hope to pick up some helpful info/tips as well.

Salutations Alexander!

Narrator: Fern named the pig Wilbur. She fed him, played with him, and put him to bed. They had a wonderful time. When the pig was five weeks old, Mr. Arable said he was big enough to sell. It was soon arranged. Next day, Wilbur went to live in a manure pile in the cellar of Zuckerman's Farm. At Zuckerman's Farm, Wilbur was very lonely. He tried to make friends with the other animals, but didn't have much luck. Until one day, he heard a voice.

Quote:
Charlotte: Salutations!
Wilbur: Salu-what?
Charlotte: Salutations!
Wilbur: What are they? And where are you? Please tell me where you are and what are salutations?
Charlotte: Salutations are greetings. When I say salutations, it's just my fancy way of saying hello or good morning. Actually, it's a silly expression, and I am surprised that I used it at all. As for my whereabouts, that's easy. I'm up here. Look, I'm waving. See me now?
Wilbur: Oh yes, indeed! How are you? Good morning! Salutations! Very pleased to meet you. What is your name please? May I have your name?
Charlotte: My name is Charlotte.

Welcome to the club! I have the CBS Crosstrek myself and, of course, absolutely love it. Any plans to mod yours at all or will you keep it mostly stock?

Thank you for joining!

I've already got the rear bumper cover/guard thing and rear seat covers. I'm a gigging musician so I'm always dragging things in and out of my car so I want to make sure I don't damage my new baby. Other than that I have plans for that mesh grill but I'm going to have to save up for a bit first.

Nice! I am either going to go with the mesh grille or just Plasti-Dip the chrome on my stock grille.

Im Way late to officially welcome you ThrillHouse....lots of new people joining and summer has me on the run. I'm just like you....first Subaru. You nailed it saying "practicality and economy". What a relief from some of the pigs I've owned over the years! Enjoy 8)
