Hi everyone. I am a first-time member to the Worldwide Cult of Subaru (WWCoS)
Back in February I took delivery of a new 2019 orange Crosstrek. The salesman, a great guy, stealthily upsold me to the Premium trim with the all-weather package. I couldn't be happier. Two weeks later on a slushy, unplowed interstate highway in Illinois, I maintained control and kept a respectable 50-55 MPH as I watched cars spin-out ahead of me.
She - the car's name is Marilyn - looks sharp inside and out.
In addition to this being my first Subaru, it is also my first-ever new car. I've always bought used. But having reached my 5th decade of life I decided it was time for me to enjoy a new-car experience at least once before I depart this earthly realm.
With 2100 miles covered in about 45 days I'm still in the Honeymoon period. When you press the unlock button on the ignition key the car beeps twice. Well, that's what everyone else hears.
I hear her say, "Let's Drive!"
