Welcome to the club!

Please, tell us a bit more about yourself. Are you considering a Subaru XV Crosstrek or already have one? Why a crossover and why the Crosstrek over the compact crossover competition?

Also, I envy you for living so close to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca!

I picked up a used 2013 XV coming from a 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback. I sold the 3 simply because I was tired of shifting and I really wanted heated seats. Prior to the 3 I had a few MX-5s, a Ford Ranger and handfuls of motorcycles.

I can't see myself owning anything but a hatchback, and I was really looking into CX-7s and nothing else (toying with CX-5s but the price is too high). I have been a Mazda fan after owning several MX-5 and the 3.

However, I've seen these on the road for a while and liked them. This one popped up on my Craigslist radar the day that I sold my Mazda 3 and it worked out. High miles for a 2013, BUT it was well maintained and priced well.

Laguna Seca is a hoot! I've been out there on motorcycles, but never took the MX-5 there when I owned it (beating myself for that). Don't think I'll run the XV around either
