Default Hey from San Diego!

Hey all from San Diego!

Decided to finally join after checking out the boards for so long.

I'll be posting more photos of my khaki crosstrek (Zoey) soon. We're going to be taking her on some minor trails today. Perfect photo opp

Hey welcome welcome, yes put up some photos! I was considering buying khaki, but took my chances with the white. I vacationed a couple months ago in La Jolla for a week, near the Windandsea, just gorgeous, wish I could go back.

Welcome to the site, jnwhile! I can't wait to see some pics of the new Crosstrek. You said you were hitting some trails which makes me wonder if you plan on doing any mods to the Trek or just going to keep it mainly stock?

Thanks for signing up!

Well the trails were closed for fire hazards so she's still a trail virgin

I would like to do some mods, its just a matter of having the budget. First real mod I'd like to do is the skid plate. I took her in some mud a few weeks back and her whole undercarriage and drive train were caked in mud (but she handled beautifully!).

That's really the only thing I of thought of for real mods. I've already plastidipped her emblems and intend to do the grill. I'm also intending to experiment with the rims and see if that looks good on the khaki.

Awesome. Caruso Motorsports makes a custom skid plate for the Crosstrek that you can read about here, http://clubcrosstrek.com/index.php/topic,410.0.html.
