awesome cars (both old and new)!! i am very glad to hear that the Crosstrek does well on snowy roads with just the stock tires as I plan on driving mine (when i get it) up to the mountains for skiing and such.

congrats!

I waited for some good snow to finally take a picture of it:

On another note I did a little sideways driving in some deeper snow and the snow kinda compacted in the rims and froze there, which made the car have some new vibrations that i wasn't used to, had to get my hands dirty and push the snow out. Just something for y'all to watch out for.

That's a great picture. Did you keep stock tires on for the snow or switch them out for some winter ones? How did it preform, besides the ice compacting?

Looks awesome in the snow! Haven't tested mine in the snow yet, but hopefully I'll get up skiing soon.

Stock tires, I'm not going to buy a set of snow tires this year because I don't really feel it needs it, but I am curious how much better it could perform. Case in point being stopping on icy down hills is not as quick as I would like but it isn't a problem it I anticipate it better. If someone wanted to buy me snow tires to test out I would love to lol.

Awesome! Great to know as I will be hitting the snowy mountains in just a few weeks, hopefully.
