Default ordering my cross trek in near future any suggestions?

this will be my first subaru although my dad has had a legacy and now my mom has an outback.
I'm thinking i will get my cross trek in sliver with a five speed, mesh grille, and rear spoiler. hopefully i can get the kickers all around also. i also have a few ideas for some mods too when i get it!

If you are handy, check out the prices of accessories online before you have the dealer install them. Will save mucho dinero. But I am guessing you might already know that.

Enjoy your new ride!

Look up potential after-market parts rather than Subaru add-ons. For example you can save upwards of $300 if you get an aftermarket hitch and install it yourself rather than getting the factory one installed. It will look better too.

Other options are just plain better if you go aftermarket rather than factory (floor mats and mud flaps, for example).

You may disagree, but at least be aware of what's out there before you settle on what you get from the dealer, as far as add-ons go.

I have the manual. One thing I'd say is drive the CVT before you decide unless you are a manual or nothing person like I am, or was. I didn't drive it and have a minor regret about that. If you are use to a exacting manual transmission, the one on this car falls short of that. Don't get me wrong, it does the job but looking back, I'd take the better mileage of the cvt over this particular manual. Either way, WElCOME!

Get the CVT. I got it and I love it. Mine is tangerine and really stands out.

I'd definitely agree that you should at least give the CVT a serious look. I'd driven manuals all my life, but went with the CVT this time, and am very pleased. The 5-speed offered with the Crosstrek definitely isn't one of the car's highlights, and the CVT is surprisingly good.

I don't see why everyone is hating on the manual. I got my tangerine 2014 manual on Saturday and I love it. It drives just like my buddies 2008 impreza.
