My Vehicle: '13 XV Crosstrek Limited, Silver, Roof/NAV
Default Subie Newbie

Greetings from VA all 1st time Subaru owner, got my Silver XV Limited 3 weeks ago and LOVE it! Perfect all around vehicle for what I need and so far I'm quite happy with it. Came from a Mazda3 (hence board name), and though a totally different class, the XV still feels fun and "sporty". Hope to participate and learn on the boards!

Welcome to the club Zoominb! I find the XV to be pretty sporty myself. It was actually my Mazda obsessed friend who pointed me towards it.

There is plenty to be learned on these boards, so you can to the right place!

Welcome, zoom! I have always liked Mazda 3's but I definitely prefer the Crosstrek, and it sounds like you are really enjoying yours. Thank you for signing up.

Welcome to the site! Coming from the Mazda line, did you give any thought to the CX-5 ?

I actually did, but never drove one. The CX-5 and Escape for that matter were bigger than what I wanted. I choose the XV because it was capable and roomier than my Mazda3, but not bulky or too SUV'ish, if that makes sense? It fit just right lol!

Though the new Mazda 6 was quite a looker IMO, however living in the country I knew I would be kicking myself come next winter when it snows and I'm stuck home.

Good points all. And try getting the Mazda in AWD for the price of our XV.
