Default Trunk LED strip

Alright so I want to get the flex light led strip from Diode Dynamics http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/l...runk-led-strip

Its a simple plug-n-play led strip that plugs into the existing light socket.

My question is where should I stick the strip? I don't want it to look tacky so I want to run the wire behind the panel in the rear.

Any opinions or suggestions would be great.

i think if you could fix the light to toward the opening of the hatch, up top by the plastic then run the wires under the headliner you'd be in business. You don't want the LEDs pointing the the direction you're looking not up at your face.

this summer I plan on mounting two strips to the underside of the roll up cover and installing a connector on the side panel to plug into the factory light wiring.
that way if i take out the roll up thingy i can easily dis connect it.

You might find this thread on SubaruXVForum useful for brainstorming.

For myself I put it on the hatch so it's right overhead when the hatch opens. Installation details in my SubaruXVForum build thread.

Please keep us posted. I love seeing the different setups.
