Default LED Turn Signals Blowing Hazard Light Fuse

I installed LED turn signals on my 2016 and am now blowing the fuse for the hazard lights. All four turn signals are LEDs and the relay switch was swapped out for an LED relay, which is what I had done for my 2014 Impreza and had no issues. Does anyone know what is causing this problem?

Did the LED swap include the use of resistors? Sounds like the lack of resistance is resulting in excessive current for the circuit's rating.

Do you have proper grounding and wire insulating?

The dreaded Canbus gremlins. They show their ugly heads at the seemingly simplest modification.

I figured out the problem, the bulbs that I have aren't compatible with the car. Supposedly the 2016s need CK bulbs, whatever that means.

From what I remember CK bulbs are used to ensure polarity and the main difference is that the signal and a ground are swapped in positions.
