Default Looking for a reliabe OBD reader

I'm looking for a reliable OBD reader for around $100 or less. I just want to be able to see what codes come up and see if anything is not running right. You look on amazon or the web and everyone has the "greatest plug in ever". Anyone really use one that gives them all the info they need at a good price?

I highly recommedn this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This one works everytime and connects to multiple vehicles flawlessly. The app is also excellent.

Ive got an older model of this one: https://amzn.to/2ZN5uVC

Obviously same brand and such. Ive had it since about 2012/3 or so and have had zero issues with it. I keep it in the glove box of my Crosstrek.

Actually used it two days ago on a friends car for them

Thanks. This is what i'm looking for. I like visuals so i can see whats going on. Did you by any chance use it on a 2013 Crosstrek? That is the main car i'm gonna be using it on but looks like it should work fine on most models.

Ive used it on my 2018 Crosstrek without issue.

Any OBDII car will work just fine with it!
