Default Wet engine compartment

I washed my baby this weekend and was going to wipe down the engine and noticed that it was wet especially the battery and air filter. Has anyone else seen this and is it something to be concerned about?

Any chance it's just normal condensation? Where do you live? Humidity? Mine does it in dana point when the fog rolls in...

It's just over spray from washing the car! You got to have ventilation in and around the engine compartment, to keep the engine from overheating.

Okay that's good to know. We had some heavy rain today and the engine was dry.
