Fuel capacity is the same as regular Impreza, bummer.

Good spot.

The 2nd generation Subaru XV based off of the 4th generation Impreza have a 60 liter (15.9 U.S. gallon) fuel tank as used in the Forester, WRX, and WRX STI. The 4th generation Impreza has the 55 liter (14.5 U.S. gallon) fuel tank.

If Subaru really does put in the 5th generation Impreza's smaller fuel tank of now 50 liters (13.2 U.S. gallons), I'll be a bit saddened considering the larger fuel tank is one of the advantages the XV was supposed to have over the Impreza.

50 liters is 13.20 gallons not 14.5. All the same AWDfreak , the 4th gen Impreza had 54.8 liter/14.5 gallon capacity and the XV 60.1 liter/15.9 gallon capacity. For a SUV. longer range is a prerequisite. Bad move Subaru.

Thank you for the correction.

Yeah, it's a bad move if this pans out to be true, I seriously do NOT want an XV to have the same fuel capacity as an Impreza, most especially if I expect (no, I WILL) use it off-roading on outdoor adventures.

So each of the 12 little squares = 5 litres neat.
