Based off a PM I received earlier today asking for a way to more easily organize certain threads on the forum, I started looking into ways for users to "save" threads that they are interested in. This is useful because it will help users keep track of all the information that is being posted on ClubCrosstrek every day.
What I found isn't a perfect solution, but it is a good jumping off point. It is called "Bookmarks" and basically adds a button at the top of each thread that allows you to save the thread in your own bookmarks profile.
You just click Add Bookmark:
View your saved bookmarks:
This way, every time you find a useful bit of information you may want to come back to later, or see a user post about a Crosstrek mod that you want to do later down the road, you can save the thread into your bookmarks folder and more easily find it later.
A couple of things that I want to improve on in the mod (if I can figure out how!):
[li]A way to label your bookmarks so you know why you saved it in the first place.[/li]
[li]Categorizing of bookmarks. I.E. having sub-folders within your bookmarks to organize everything you save, such as: interior mods, exterior mods, useful information, off-topic, etc.[/li]
For now I think this will help a lot, but there is definitely room for improvement down the road.
