Default Texas / DFW anyone?

Looking to chat with others in the area. There's got to be someplace to take my XV besides boring paved roads, lol.

Looking for ideas also. I work a ton of hours, but a quick escape would be nice.

I took mine to Scarborough Renaissance Festival this weekend. With the rain Saturday, their parking area was an adventure.

I'm in Texas, but further south in Houston. I took mine on the beach in Bolivar Peninsula (Galveston) and had a blast getting sideways in the sand. On the other hand, cleaning all the sand that got captured in the under car was kind of a pain. Lots of little nooks that a pressure washer can't reach under there

I am from DFW area too. I know up in the Sherman/Dennison there are places to go.

Looking for a good shop around town. 4x4 shops don't want to touch a "car" and car shops lack off roading expertise.

Find Texas Trails, Off Road Parks, ATV Parks And Motocross Tracks - TX

This is a great resource for trails and parks to drive. Don't get me wrong, the non-official ones like the one behind The Colony (haven't been in years so not sure it is still there) and up in Sherman are great too. But the one in Easton is probably the best around. I can't wait to go now that I finally got my skid plates installed.
