Default Heading up to San Fran for first time

Any suggestions of what to do? My friends from North Carolina will be out there the 22-29 but I will just be there early morning 25th til late night 27th.

What are some must-do things while I am there for the weekend?

Lombard Street. Drive like a maniac.

Then check out California State Route 1 north of the Golden Gate. Absolutely gorgeous road.

Two sections to note of north of SF that I consider "fun zones"

Thanks for the suggestions, however I should have clarified. I am flying up on that Saturday morning and flying back Monday night, so I won't actually have my Crosstrek. I am staying in the Union Square area with a couple of friends (also in town visiting so not familiar with area) so was looking for things to do that can be easily walked to/accessed with BART.

That said, I 100% plan on doing a road trip up there within the year. Thanks!

Hmmm...

well, there's actually A LOT to do in San Francisco!

I think about food a lot (or too often!) and I recommend you eat at a local fish n chips place when you find the opportunity. I don't remember exactly what restaurant I tried fish n chips at, but it literally was the first time ever I enjoyed seafood.

Oh, and Yelp can be your friend if you need help finding the best businesses

Yeah I hear its a great city! I am sure there won't be a lack of anything to do while I am there, especially for only three days.

I also just realized that my previous post was in all italics like I was implying or emphasizing something. It was just a mistake!
