Default Kicker BassStation

Just installed the PT10 in my Crosstrek and its pretty sweet. Comes with everything needed and only took a couple hours to install (once i found my wiring tools and socket set lol). I think its a great alternative to the very pricey factory unit and you can turn down the bass on the headunit which really helps with distortion of sound on the door speakers. Straps are routed through the child seat annchors to keep the unit upright.

Good idea for the mounting. Is this the unit with the built in amp and the quick disconnects?

At 1st glance it looks huge, ungainly and cumbersome, and those are just its good qualities. 8)

Each to their own I always say.

Penguin: Yup, its all contained in that box and can quickly unplug and be moved out of the way. Its not as boomy as my old cars setup but that was dual 10s in a ported enclosure with a separate amp lol.

Wingnut: Not sure if your serious or not but the unit is quite compact and easily moved. I listen to a lot of EDM, hiphop, and rock music and it was killing the door speakers' quality.

Pops her head in, hand cupped around her ear.....

Did I hear say somebody was bumpin' the tunes? Heck yeah!

Umm.. thanks for the kind words Wingnut... umm.. I think. LOL. I'm not youngster either, so no reason you couldn't be bumpin' the tunes too. Even if it is to elevator music. LOL. Juuussttt kidding!!!

Yep, I'm loving my new Kicker system. stopped by to say Hello to the guys at the dealership the other day. Had the tunes going. I got such a chuckle out of all the sales guys staring at that little XV in their lot, shaking the ground with sound! hehehe. I'm sooo loving this car.
