Saw these car cleaning tips on the Reader's Digest website. Some of them are very weird like washing your car with kerosine. Maybe it works?

They have some interesting suggestions. I don't think I'll be washing my car with kerosene any time soon, but I may try the pantyhose/window cleaner on the headlamps.
