Some tow-truck drivers might not know your Subaru is AWD. There have been horror stories of Subaru owners who have had their AWD Subaru vehicles towed improperly (on two wheels) and then end up needing to pay for expensive repairs to the AWD system.

And then as I was browsing a thread regarding that... I found this:

Sheesh, I haven't really ever heard of it happening to anyone but I am sure it does. I had my old Subaru towed once and they promised me they towed it on a flatbed but I have my doubts still...
