Well the voice command does the phone fine but when asked to Play Music or Play Artist Whatever, the voice says "Connected audio source is busy or not connected"

Huh?

I've disconnected and reconnected and no change. Ideas?

We can't exactly give you any accurate ideas without your model year as well as type of headunit (i.e. GPS or no GPS).

I guess that info would help. 2016 Limited. Just seems that the hands-free is given priority to the phone and not the audio though both were registered. Using a usb the voice commands work for audio.

Have you enabled your mobile device to connect to your vehicle through BOTH phone and audio bluetooth connection? That too confused me at first. If both phone and audio connection are enabled, I've turned the vehicle off, disabled the phone connection (with audio connection still enabled), turned the vehicle back on, re-enable the phone connection after bluetooth audio connects and that usually solves it on my 2014 Premium.

If not, it may be an issue specific to the Limited and higher trim levels, or perhaps your mobile device itself. I can't say for sure since my 2014 Premium with the old headunit Subaru used that many loathed may be different from yours.

The sync interface lets you choose phone, audio, or both. I did both. Disconnected and reconnected several times with no change. Oddly when the phone is connected via USB the voice commands work for audio.

Really, if I could, I could have gotten a model without voice commands but shite, if it's there it should work.
