Hi guys,

I picked up my '16 last Friday and so far it's a phenomenal car! I noticed in the past couple of days when I shut my driver's door the front bumper(not sure if it's on the side or the fog light area) has a small rattling noise. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this on their cars.

Thanks!

Rattling tends to be more noticeable with metal components, but my guess is perhaps some body clips may be loose around that area. I'd do a quick underbody inspection and verify the clips are all tight and present. If you've taken your Crosstrek off-road, there is a good change some clips have been damaged or missing, and maybe some minor damage to the front bumper may be present.

Yeah, the noise is more of a ticking/clicking I guess, it sounds to me like plastic rubbing on something. I'm not sure if it's the bumper on the fender or something inside the bumper/fender area. I'll have to mention it to the dealer at my first service.
