 Hi everyone. I have a 2013 crosstrek which makes a click noise when breaking to a stop at slow speed. I just had front wheel bearings done, and the dealer couldn`t find the problem. Could anyone else have this problem?

Welcome to the club!

I would take it to the dealer and replicate the problem there for them (don't let them drive it without you as they're likely to say they couldn't hear it).

Does it occur on specific slopes? Does the click noise occur before application of the brakes, during the initial application of the brakes, during the short moment before stopping, during the actual stop, or after lifting off the brake pedal to launch?

Also, are there any warning lights illuminated on your vehicle's instrument panel so far?

Thanks for the suggestion. The sound has now moved back and seems to come from the door area. It sounds like something shifting around when braking. Ill have to get it in before warranty is up. Other than that i love my crosstrek.

braking noise

I have the same thing happening,
It sounds as if something is shifting when the car actually stops.
Sounds like linkage or a hose slapping another surface when the car actually stops its motion.
The noise is in the right front area. it does not even sound metallic.
Took it to the dealer to inspect before a trip to NM, He was able to hear it in the parking lot. says he has heard it before on other models.
So they put it up on a lift and checked out the brakes and found nothing loose. I still hear it, so this weekend I'm getting under it in my garage and i'm going to see if I can find something loose.

Interesting. Greetings! Glad to be a member. I have a "tapping" noise when turning/accelerating. Stepping on brakes has no effect. Sound is intermittent, seems to shift side to side...front to back. (!) Irritating. Just out of warranty too. Grrrrr. Thought it might be axle related; but "intermittent"? And which one? Any advice appreciated.
