I recently had my 13 at the dealership for the brake light control switch recall replacement. They said i need the fuel system service. Its $250. No thanks dealership. Ive been wrenching my own cars since i could hold a ratchet. That being said, can anybody tell me what all the service entails? Im assuming a fuel filter. and probably some injector cleaner. anything else?

There is a replaceable filter inside the fuel pump/sender unit. Book says to replace at 60k I believe. I’m at 85k I’m planning on doing it this summer, there’s an access panel under the rear seat. I’ve read some dealers don’t recommend replacing the filter, just replace the entire unit when it fails.
