Installed the OEM Subaru STI 20mm sway bar (with new larger bushings) a few nights ago when I got home from work. This is available at any dealer as individual parts or as a kit at some (got mine at subaruonlineparts.com). Nice little upgrade and takes only about 15 minutes to install.

Enjoy!

I LOVED this video. Thanks for doing it! It's the technical aspect I want from my crosstrek, and it's exactly what I've heard about Subaru parts interchangeability. Also, nice sense of humor.

part number for 20 mm sway bar with bushings

My dealer said that he needs the actual part number for the 20 mm sway bar with the bushings. Do you still have it?

Did this as well and love it along with a strut brace up front and wider tires. Keep in mind this will limit suspension travel. Since 90% of the time I am on pavement especially two lane hardball here in NC it works for me. When I do go off pavement it is gravel roads/dirt trails and the beach no real serious off-roading so I have had no negative impact from that perspective. But the handling and the car keeping planted is super. And this mod is really too easy - great video well worth it.

20 mm sway bar for 2018 Crosstrek

Anyone here know where I can purchase a 20 mm rear sway bar for my 2018 Crosstrek. All the dealer lists is the OEM 16 mm bar. Not had any luck yet from Suburuonlineparts.com yet either.

The video and post was done in 2016 and was for the 12-17 generation (2016 Trek shown in the video). There isn't a 20mm for the 18's - at least not at this time - either OEM or aftermarket.

does this fit the 2018 crosstrek? and where can I purchase this mod? Thanks in advance!
The 2018 model year Subaru Crosstrek is on a completely different platform and mounts also in a completely different manner. You will have to wait until the 2020, the expected model year for the next-generation Subaru WRX and WRX STI to be released.
