I just bought a 2017 Impreza with Eyesight. At work I park at an indoor garage which uses an elevator to take the car to the parking area. Will my Eyesight react when the car is driven into the elevator (which is only a few feet longer than the average car)? If I turn it off when I give it to the attendant it's my understanding that Eyesight will turn back on when the car is restarted (they shut the car off when it's in the elevator)? Any ideas will be appreciated.

I don't have a '17 but I do have a '15 with Eyesight so I can only speak to the way it would respond, your '17 may be different but I doubt it. The only reaction from Eyesight would accur if you drove it into the elevator at a comparative high rate of speed. If you go in as you normally would, no reaction. Go in too far too fast and it should apply the brakes before you hit anything but ... do this at your own risk. I see no reason to turn off Eyesight before turning your car over to an attendant.
