Hello all,

I live on the shores of Lake Erie. This is truly Crosstrek country here. We have sandy beaches in the summer and snowy roads in the winter. We just purchased our XV Crosstrek after having an Impreza. We loved the Impreza hatchback but it was simply to close to the ground. I look forward to spending some time here at Club Crosstrek and getting to know you. I anticipate learning more about the world of Crosstreking too!

Thank you for the welcome ClubCrosstrek!

I'm an old coot so I'll most likely leave the CrossTrek pretty much stock. I'll add the stickers and perhaps some reflectors to the back end though. I really like the "Forum". Thanks again!

Hooray for NE Ohio! I'm from there originally and spend a lot of time in the summer in Sandusky and on the islands (I even have the PIB specialty plates on my Crosstrek).

Welcome to the forum, and if you ever see a Dark Gray Metallic Crosstrek with PIB plates motoring around NE Ohio, feel free to give me a shout! 8)

Hello RubySu,

Thanks for the welcome

This Ohio boy did a little time in SC many moons ago. I did basic training at Fort Jackson back in 1966! I hope and pray my XV Crosstrek is more faithful than the Cleveland sports teams usually are.

Oh, if they were just half as faithful as the fans... I do love Ohio State! Go Bucks!
And of course GO Browns too!

Isn't that the truth?! I used to joke that I hope the Browns would win a championship before I died. Now, at 48, I'm really starting to wonder! I do like the new coaching staff but not sold on Weeden just yet. For some reason, I am as optimistic about this season as I've been since '99. Must just be that time of year! I love the Buckeyes too, although, in recent years, the program just doesn't represent itself as well as it once did IMO....but then college football in its entirety has changed. I'm a bigger fan of the professional game at this point.
