that's what i would expect to happen if she unlocked the doors with the physical key, or pressed the red panic button. if the fob unlocks the doors, it must be programmed to the car, otherwise it wouldn't do anything. it sounds like there might be a short in the fob, or a loose bit of something under the buttons, sending BOTH the unlock and the panic codes? maybe someone stomped on, or messed with, the fob?My daughter's 2017 crosstrek was stolen recently now when she uses her fob to unlock the doors the alarm goes off. Any ideas how to stop it.
