My 2019 averages around 31mpg (70% highway). On long trips I can get it up to around 34.
Wait a bit. I found increased power and fuel economy as I approached 30k km. I changed my oil 3 times during the first 5k but after wich I went on to every 5.How is everyone finding their gas consumption so far? With a MT I am using more than the Subaru stats, but I live in a really hilly area. Also I only have 700km or 430 miles on the clock. I assume it will get better once the engine has been run in.
I realize that the MPG gauge on my '18 Crosstrek is not the accurate way to measure fuel mileage. Last week I did a 150mile round trip on the expressway and saw it register MPG I had never seen before. I had it on cruise control 75% of the time and set it at 65mph. When I got home the MPG shown was 41.8. I have the tire pressure set for 35 PSI. Even factoring in that this it is not an accurate measurement of the real MPG it is still excellent. During the cold weather and all local driving I seldom have seen it drop below 32 mpg on the gauge. How is everyone finding their gas consumption so far?
