Ok the title might be misleading but I was changing the oil today and wiping down the filler neck, cap, filter seat and down underneath where I had some drips when I happened to notice my hand bleeding a good bit.

The filler neck edge is razor freaking sharp to the point that I didn't even feel it slice my thumb twice. And its the whole rim not just a machine defect or burr.

Watch out.

Wow, thanks for the warning... I've never got myself cut by my car like that (usually its the undercarriage that cuts me).

I'm wondering if its just my car. It's actually pretty scary how sharp the edge is. Definitely the most nefarious of my car related injuries, except for the time I stabbed myself with a screw driver when I was rebuilding a turbo.
