Our recent to the Texas Hill Country with a little offroading near Bandera Texas. The Corsstrek handles deep ruts, soft soil, rocks, and crossing a rocky and steep dry creek bed with no drama.

It's pretty big, probably about 5 square miles Washington has set aside just for ORVs to play in. I get a lot of strange looks from all the guys in their big trucks, atvs and dirt bikes, but it's ok, I'm having fun testing the XV out where not many Subaru roam...

So I'm not the only one who's gotten that treatment ;D (did some light wheeling in my old Outback on a beach)
