Anybody have any success in making this work? Are there any attachments that allow for the back hatch to remain open, but screened in?

Tried sleeping in my husband's Outback one night and found myself sliding down even though I was parked flat. Not the most comfortable night of sleep.

Stardude Outdoors has a video "Subaru Crosstrek Solo Car Camping - Is It Comfortably Camp Worthy?" that talks about sleeping in the back.

I haven't seen anything for screening in the hatch, but you might look at some of the magnet + screen + duct tape solutions people use for the rear windows. You might be able to modify that for what you want.
