Soundproofing

I did my doors when I upgraded the speakers on my '22 Limited and it helped some but wouldn't say it helped A LOT but is noticeable. I thought about doing the floor but you would have to remove the seats, console and carpet. When I was looking at installing my own amp, under the passenger's seat and was running the wiring, I realized the carpet has the insulation attached to it, rather than on the actual metal pan. On mine, there is an air gap of about 3/8"-1/2" between the metal pan and carpet, that could take some additional insulation and help with the road noise some. I will say, compared to my wife's 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport, my Crosstrek is Leaps and Bounds ahead of it in road noise.
