Good Day All,

Just a quick hello and glad to find another forum that is a little more stateside oriented for the possibility of starting local gatherings.

Today is the day that our XV is scheduled to arrive at the dealer, it could be there right now or it may be arriving before Cinderella needs to leave the ball. Either way, we hope that the weather clears and that we can drive her home today.

We have been fortunate enough to have waited 7 weeks for our Dark Grey 5mt XV to arrive. The small pile of toys in the sunroom will be better suited installed as versus boxed.

Knowing that she is on a truck is good, seeing her in person will be amazing.

Sincerely,
Dan and Sarah

Congrats on your beauty finally arriving! I love the dark grey color myself- it was a close second behind the tangerine I bought.

Happy to see another member joining us from the east coast!

Well she arrived and is truly everything that we have come to enjoy about a Subaru. Once I have permission to post pictures I will do so. It is great to be part of a growing online community where our current residency doesn't quite know what to think of our XV.

Congrats on the purchase, I am sure you will love it as much as we all do. Is this your first Subaru or are you a long-time fan of the brand?

This is personally our first Subaru. My mother is on her fifth Subaru, since 1986, so I am familiar with the simplicity and reliability of its AWD heritage. It also worked out well because Subaru has finally released a design that accommodates our lifestyle at the time when we are actually in need of a second family vehicle.

My wife and I don't have any kids yet, but we liked how the XV could be a family car in addition to a fun car that fits our outdoor lifestyle. It seems to be a pretty versatile vehicle!
