Bought my wife a Limited XV in 2013. When it came time to buy my XV in 2015, did not want the Limited, because I prefer not to have leather seats. The only thing I did regret is that I could not get a leather-wrapped steering wheel with the Premium. Figured I would give it a try. After nearly 3 months with my 2015, decided the steering wheel on the Premium was just too thin and slippery for my old hands! Didn't want to go through the expense and potential installation problems with replacing the steering wheel with a leather one from a Limited or one from a Forester or WRX, so decided to go with the Wheelskins cover (went with the fully perforated black/black Euro version). Overall, it was well worth the $50 for the cover. Installation would have been quicker, but the arthritis in my hands robs me of the dexterity I once had. Regardless, I had it all stitched up in under an hour and a half. It obviously lacks the OEM look .... but provides me just what the old wheel was lacking. It's a good alternative if you want a thicker steering wheel that affords more grip.
