I know I am a WRX guy (Who has large 24mm F and 22mm R sway bars from Whiteline, but I am in the market for a new XV and was wondering what the OEM sway bar sizes are. I know a lot of people in the past with the Impreza platforms as well as the OUTBACK platforms swap to say the stock 19MM STi rear sway bar. I had one on my 11 OUTBACK and it made a big difference. Has anyone done this yet? Im just curious as to how everyone seems to like the handling of the XV.

I don't know what the official measurements are, but I measured the rear bar at ~16-17mm. The front I measured at ~24-25mm. Not sure how accurate the front measurement is as I measured it near the bends by the end links.

I set my tire pressures to 36/35 psi front/rear. It feels too squishy at 33/32 psi. I like the way it handles stock and have no plans to change anything yet. It's no WRX, but it is much firmer and has less wallow through corners then the 2006 Imp 2.5i and 2009 OBS I used to have. And I upgraded the rear sway bars within the first month of ownership on both of those cars.

My son & I put a 20mm bar on her '15 xv & she noticed & liked the difference. The xv is a big change from the '11 mini s we had, which also got a thicker rear bar put on. I had a 20mm put on my wrx yesterday & wish I'd done it sooner. We live very near "the snake" here in E. TN. & many other twisty mtn. roads. I keep tire psi like LittleBigHead too.
