Our 3 month less than 2,000 mile Crosstrek just had transmission replaced and warning lights going off. Has been in shop for almost 6 weeks. Anyone else have similar experience?

our vehicle started hesitating and losing power on the way to church. It started and we were able to make it to church. When tow driver arrived he said there wasn't anything wrong with it. I drove it around through the parking entrance and it seemed fine. We left and before we made it 2 miles it started shuddering and died. Tow driver took it to dealership where it has been for 5 weeks. Transmission was replaced last week and when they drove it, warning light went off. They are trying to figure out what is wrong with it.

While I'm not positive, in theory, wherever you broke down and either called Subaru's toll free number for assistance that should result in free towing or driving to the nearest Subaru authorized dealer for warranty service, it's presumed you're covered no matter where you are; at home or away, out of state or several hundred miles away and cannot return home.

Care to share what state you’re in? In Massachusetts, for example, if a new vehicle is out of service for more than 15 business days, it triggers the lemon law, giving you a right to a replacement car.
